CV in extenso (Spanish) (English)

I am currently interested in the phenomenology of inflation, dark matter and dark energy, three central actors in modern Cosmology. Most of my work focuses in the use of scalar field models for the three aforementioned Cosmology topics. Recent particular interests are: a) Unification of inflation, dark matter and dark energy under a single field; b) Properties of scalar fields as dark matter; c) Dynamics of general dark energy models; d) Gravitational collapse of scalar fields using Numerical Relativity tools.

Some of my work is being done in collaboration with Dr. Tonatiuh Matos (Departamento de Física, Cinvestav, Mexico), Dr. Francisco Guzmán (Instituto de Física y Matemáticas, UMSNH, Mexico), Prof. Andrew Liddle (Sussex Astronomy Centre, UK) and Prof. Roy Maartens (Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, University of Portsmouth, UK).
